ERA's partner in their initiative to find and hire outstanding employees while supporting our nation's military veterans is RecruitMilitary, a full-service military-to-civilian recruiting firm that does business nationwide. RecruitMilitary is headquartered in nearby Loveland, Ohio, and is a member of ERA. When the Association launched the initiative, more than 110,000 candidates had registered in the database. Since then, the database has grown to over 370,000.

Participating members are entitled to use RecruitMilitary's online hiring mechanisms at a 10% discount from listed rates. Those mechanisms include:

• job postings on the RecruitMilitary Web site, www.recruitmilitary.com
• subscriptions to RecruitMilitary's database of job candidates who have military backgrounds
• e-mail blasts sent to carefully selected groups of candidates in the database.

Participating members are also entitled to a 10% discount from published rates for booths at RecruitMilitary Career Fairs held in Cincinnati and other cities across the country.

ERA members that use RecruitMilitary's online hiring products will receive "front-of-the-line" support from the RecruitMilitary staff and will be entitled to display a special logo identifying themselves as "Hiring Those Who Served." The logo is available as an electronic file for use on members' Web sites, in e-mail messages and attachments, and for imprinting on stationery, business cards, brochures, product bulletins, etc.

RecruitMilitary's database consists of men and women who are transitioning from active duty in all branches of the United States armed forces, veterans who already have civilian work experience, members of the National Guard and reserves, and military spouses. In the database are individuals of all ranks and rates-enlisted personnel as well as officers-people who can fill both non-exempt and exempt positions.
