- EEOC Investigations - What an Employer Should Know - Areas that an employer might find particularly helpful detailing what happens when a charge is filed against an employer and how it can be resolved.

- Emergency Management Guide For Business and Industry - Presents a step-by-step approach to emergency planning, response, and recovery for companies for all sizes from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
- EPA Indoor Air Quality Home Page - A site of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency which includes indoor air quality issues for homes, schools, and offices.
- Employee Benefits Security Administration
- Fax on Demand - Not a website, but a useful resource. BLS provides press releases of major economic indicators. Call 202/691-6325 and follow voice instructions.
- Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) - The Federal Emergency Management Agency Web site provides sample emergency preparedness plans for natural and technological disasters.
- Federal Trade Commission - Consumer Protection Information.
- FEDSTATS - This government web site makes it easier and faster to find many different types of statistics. Run by the Federal Interagency Council on Statistical Policy, it list detailed information from 70 different federal statistical agencies on a wide range of topics and includes over 275 categories.
- FedWorld - A database of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, FedWorld is a one-stop location for U.S. Government information including: government information servers, reports, and detailed information from over 50 agencies.
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) - This Department of Labor site is intended to assist employers who sponsor group health plans in understanding their obligations under the law to educate workers and their families about their rights under HIPAA.

- IRS W-4 Calculator - This site assists employers in withholding the correct amount of federal income tax from an employee’s pay. By entering the requested data, the calculator shows users whether they are exempt or how may allowances they are able to claim.
- IRS Website - Easy to use clearing house of forms and instruction booklets
- Labor Department’s Mine Safety and Health Administration - Information regarding diesel regulations, health hazards, and mine rescue efforts is available at this site.
- Library of Congress - Includes a link to The Global Legal Information (GLIN), a searchable record of national laws from countries around the world.
- National Institute of Standards & Technology - An agency of the US Dept. of Commerce’s Technology Administration.
- National Labor Relations Board - NLRB opinions, rules & regulations, and publications as well as a directory of regional offices are available at this agency site.
- NIOSH - National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health. Provides current information on services and activities, including NIOSH publications, respirators, and mining health and safety research.
- OSHA - Includes standards and regulations, searchable by keyword or phrase. Also includes links to other U.S. government Internet sites.
- OSHA Statistics - Contains information on OSHA standards, SIC codes, inspections, and statistics.
- Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) - At this site users can learn more about defined benefit pension plans, search for legal information on pension plans, download forms, or view provisions for such plans.
